Ricochet Partners Develops Brand for New Auto Dealer Customer Contact Software

Portland, OR – Ricochet Partners has recently completed brand development of a new logo, tagline and color palette for a revolutionary new customer contact software for auto dealers, created by a Bay Area high-tech start up.

The new company, ResponseLogix, offers a marketing software suite that helps car dealers respond to website inquiries in less than 10 minutes, 100 percent of the time. It also automatically stays in touch with leads once they’ve grown cold, and offers detailed sales tracking capabilities.

“We started by scrutinizing the marketplace and competition,” said Jeanne McKirchy-Spencer, Ricochet’s Chief Strategy Officer. “Our research uncovered a key opportunity. No competitor had clearly defined the main benefit of the category, which is to help dealers sell more cars through the Internet. Then, using demographics and psychographic research, plus our knowledge of color theory and how it creates desired audience response, we developed a warm, sophisticated visual identity that inspires a sense of confidence in the brand.”

Peter Charlton, Ricochet’s CEO and Chief Creative Director also pointed out that the ResponseLogix tag line was a key part of the brand development. “A concise, clever tag line, Drive e-sales, was given a subtle twist by our art directors to read DRIVe SALES,” said Charlton. “The reason it works so well is that it not only delivers the main benefit of our client’s product, but it actually claims the key benefit of the entire category as the sole property of ResponseLogix.”

Bob Couch, Vice President of Marketing for the Bay Area start up, was elated with the results. “The Board was tremendously enthusiastic about the work and very positive customer response indicates to me that Ricochet really nailed it with this new branding.”
